After 17 years of owning Mecca, a vintage clothing shop/gallery in Vancouver, and nearly a decade studying part-time at Emily Carr University, Helen Mears’ passion for quality clothing, fine fabrics, and art inspired her to open Pod in 2013.

With an emphasis on smaller European collections made from natural fabrics like linen, wool, and cotton, Pod also serves as a platform for showcasing contemporary art. Committed to preserving the charm of independent storefronts, the boutique embodies a vision that celebrates creativity, quality, and the enduring spirit of small business.
